Staff Trainer (38814)

Reports to: Sr VP of Workforce Development                                               Job Status: Part Time

 

Travel Required: 5 Boroughs, LI, Westchester (if necessary)                        Hourly

 

Work Schedule: Weekends, occasionally weekdays

 

Position Summary: The Staff Trainer/SCIP-R Instructor is responsible for delivering designated crisis intervention training to Community Services, Education, and Administrative Staff. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Facilitate Crisis Intervention training for internal program staff.

• Participate in SCIP-R training program maintenance and development as necessary.

• Participate in all activities required for re-certification of Instructor status

• Complete all agency mandatory training requirements

• Monitor and Report Progress toward project goals

• All other tasks as required by the department Director.

Position Requirements:

• Hold and maintain valid OPWDD issued SCIP-R Instructor Certification

• Hold and maintain valid CPR Certification 

• Ability to use relevant computer software

• Ability to interact with diverse groups of stakeholders
