Due to our continued growth in the Middle East region, we are looking for a Project Manager based in Abu Dhabi to support the planning, coordination, and administration of inspection and industrial service projects.


Position summary:

The Project Manager is responsible for the complete planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of inspection and industrial service projects. The role ensures that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with customer requirements, company procedures, and QHSE standards.

The Project Manager will lead project teams, coordinate with clients, manage resources, monitor project costs, control risks, and ensure professional project execution from award stage until final completion and invoicing.

 

Job description:

  • Review project scope, contract requirements, customer specifications, and commercial terms.

  • Lead customer kick-off and project meetings and represent the company professionally.

  • Prepare project execution plans, schedules, resource plans, and project strategies.

  • Ensure method statements, risk assessments, work procedures, and QHSE documents are prepared and approved and submitted to the clinet in timely manner.

  • Compile and maintain the complete project folder for execution of the order.

  • Manage project planning, manpower allocation, equipment readiness, logistics, and site mobilization.

  • Monitor project progress, milestones, productivity, cost, risks, and overall performance.

  • Ensure projects are executed safely and in compliance with approved procedures and client requirements.

  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and third-party service providers, as required.

  • Review and control project budget, cost forecasts, variations, and project financial performance.

  • Coordinate personnel deployment and site arrangements.

  • Ensure timely submission of daily reports, inspection reports, timesheets, and project documentation.

  • Manage client communication, project updates, technical clarifications, and issue resolution.

  • Ensure project completion documents are compiled and submitted as per customer requirements.

  • Conduct project close-out review and identify lessons learned for future improvement.

  • Provide regular updates to management on project progress, risks, financial status, and resource requirements.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

  • PMP Certification or equivalent Project Management qualification is preferred.

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in project management within the oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, pipeline inspection, or industrial services sector.

  • Proven experience managing pipeline inspection, pigging, and integrity management projects.

  • Sound technical knowledge of Pipeline Pigging Operations, including cleaning, gauging, batching, dewatering/degassing activities.

  • Strong understanding and practical experience in Inline Inspection (ILI) technologies, particularly Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Inspection Tools.

  • Previous experience working on ADNOC Group projects, including ADNOC Offshore, ADNOC Onshore, ADNOC Gas, or ADNOC Distribution, is highly preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience managing similar inspection and integrity projects for ADNOC or other major oil & gas operators in the Middle East.

  • Good understanding of ADNOC standards, permit-to-work systems, HSE requirements, project execution procedures, and contractor management processes.

  • Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, resource management, logistics coordination, budgeting, and cost control.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining safety, quality, and commercial performance objectives.

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic language skills are an advantage.

 

Additional requirement:

Candidates with direct experience in managing Pigging and Inline Inspection (UT) projects for ADNOC assets, including offshore and onshore pipelines, will be given preference.
