Job Description

Sagewell is located at 3518 Drawbridge Parkway (inside MedCenter Greensboro) Greensboro, NC 27410 and 723 S Van Buren Road Suite A-4 Eden, NC 27288. The Swim Instructor provides swim lessons to participants of all ages and ability. Working under close supervision for routine situations, this role teaches swimming techniques according to American Red Cross guidelines and makes safety a top priority.

Essential Job Function
- Conducts swimming lessons for individuals and small groups, catering to varying skill levels and ages.
- Helps monitor and track participants' progress through proper documentation to provide customized feedback and guidance for areas of improvements.
- Teaches water safety principles, swimming techniques, and stroke development based on lesson objectives.
- Enforces ground rules, safety rules, and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Ensures cleanliness in the pool area by storing away proper equipment and disposing of trash.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
- Required: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience
Licensure/Certification/Listing
- Required: CPR/AED & First Aid Certified
