Excellence Community Schools

Excellence Community Schools (ECS), is the charter management organization supporting a network of 17 schools including co-educational elementary and middle schools at Bronx Charter School for Excellence 1-5 and Stamford Charter School for Excellence, and the single-gender schools, Boys Prep Excellence and Girls Prep Excellence I & II.

For over 20 years, our award-winning Excellence Model continues to close the achievement gap for K–8 scholars in the Bronx, NY, and Stamford, CT—earning three National Blue Ribbon School Awards (Bronx Excellence 1 in 2012; Bronx Excellence 2, and Stamford Excellence in 2023).
