Family-owned since 1983, Octapharma is a global healthcare company headquartered in Lachen, Switzerland. We develop and manufacture medicines based on proteins derived from human plasma and human cell lines.

More than 11,000 employees worldwide support the treatment of patients in 120 countries. Our products focus on three therapeutic areas: Critical Care, Haematology and Immunotherapy.

Octapharma operates seven R&D sites and five state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in Austria, France, Germany and Sweden, as well as over 200 plasma donation centres across Europe and the US.
