About This Role

The Associate Director, Field Operations- Neuropsych (NP) serves as the strategic business partner and operational leader for the Head of Sales, Neuropsychiatry ensuring the sales organization operates with discipline, alignment, accountability, and operational excellence. This role owns the operating cadence of the sales organization by translating leadership priorities into measurable execution, coordinating cross-functional initiatives, and driving organizational effectiveness across Regional Sales Directors and commercial partners.

This role is accountable for the business operations of the sales organization, executive communications, leadership governance, performance management, and organizational effectiveness. Acting as an extension of the VP of Sales, the Associate Director, Field Operations enables leadership capacity while ensuring consistent execution against commercial objectives.

What You’ll Do

Sales Leadership Operations & Business Governance

•            Lead the business operating cadence for the sales organization.

•            Coordinate weekly leadership meetings, quarterly business reviews, annual planning, and strategic planning sessions.

•            Translate VP priorities into measurable operational plans.

•            Track leadership commitments and organizational execution.

•            Manage governance processes supporting commercial performance.

•            Ensure Regional Directors execute against agreed priorities.

Leadership Accountability & Organizational Performance

•            Develop organizational scorecards and leadership dashboards.

•            Monitor execution of strategic priorities.

•            Ensure consistency across regions regarding leadership expectations.

•            Measure business health and execution effectiveness.

•            Monitor coaching consistency across Regional Directors.

•            Identify organizational risks and recommend interventions.

•            Hold leadership teams accountable for execution milestones.

Neuropsych Field Communications & Leadership Enablement

•            Prepare National level presentations

•            Build materials for: weekly leadership meetings, National Sales meetings, Live meetings, Town Halls, Quarterly Business Reviews.

•            Manage leadership communications

•            Develop organizational messaging.

•            Coordinate recognition and awards programs.

•            Support executive decision making through business insights.

Cross-Functional Business Integration

•            Point person on GTM pull through and implementation

•            Coordinating strategic initiatives

•            Managing enterprise-level projects

•            Driving cross-functional alignment

•            Removing execution barriers.

•            Ensuring organizational readiness.

•            Facilitating communication between commercial functions.

Organizational Excellence & Leadership Development

•            Coordinate onboarding

•            Lead offboarding transactions

•            Support succession planning

•            Develop leadership capability initiatives

•            Improve organizational processes.

•            Lead continuous improvement initiatives.

•            Standardize leadership tools and resources

•            Support culture, engagement, and recognition initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
  • 7+ years in biotech/pharma with field sales experience
  • Demonstrated success with experience in performance management, sales leadership, commercial operations, business management, cross-functional leadership, business analytics, organizational effectiveness and strategic planning
  • Works well within a fast-paced and dynamic environment with an ability to have an impact in a short space of time
  • Must exhibit inclusive peer leadership skills, and an ability to influence without authority. Prior leadership experience is of benefit; however not required 
  • Self-starter who functions well, whether independently or within a team
  • Must possess a strategic and operational mindset, including time, resource allocation and management

Additional Information

The base compensation range for this role is: $154,000.00-$212,000.00


Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.


Regular employees are eligible to receive both short term and long-term incentives, including cash bonus and equity incentive opportunities, designed to reward recent achievements and recognize your future potential based on individual, business unit and company performance.
