Warehouse Associate (Seasonal)
BW Retail Solutions – McDonough, GA
What You'll Be Doing
- Order Picking - Review incoming orders, verifying quantity and quality of item to pick from bins or shelves and stage for packers.
- Packing - Inspect order for accuracy and defects/damages, select box size, review order details in ShipStation computer system, select the carrier type based on box size, weight, and cost to ship. Print shipping label from the computer system. Package order to prepare for shipment.
- Shipping - Examine and separate outgoing shipments to prepare for carrier pickup.
- Line Sorting - Separate packages on conveyor by carrier type to prepare for pickup.
- Perform packaging and shipping duties using a warehouse management system and barcode scanner.
- This role requires cross-training across multiple warehouse functions and the flexibility to assist in areas outside of the primary job responsibilities as business needs require.
What We'll Need from You
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Basic computer skills
- Lifting of up to 50 pounds; Standing, walking, sitting, handling, bending, and reaching required
- Excellent attention to detail and organization skills.
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
Pay Range
- $15/hr
When and Where You'll Be Working
- Hours of Operation:
- Monday - Friday (6:00am - 5:00pm)
- Saturday/Sunday (7:00am - 4:00pm)
- This position is seasonal with a potential of going year-round (32 - 40 hours)
