Midland Transport is currently seeking an Inside Sales Account Manager to be based at our Dartmouth Terminal. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the customer base within Atlantic Canada. This role ensures our customers receive exceptional customer service and support through effective communication, teamwork and accountability.

- Prospect potential or existing partners and promote Midland services as well as generate and qualify leads to grow revenue for Atlantic region and beyond.
- Plan and execute weekly call schedules to maximize territory growth and value.
- Identify and secure new customers in assigned territory while growing existing customer base.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and successfully close opportunities.
- Develop and present transport solutions to customers, including pricing and corporate materials.
- Share marketplace intelligence and new partnership opportunities with sales team and actively contribute during team calls and events.
- Education Required: University Degree in Business Administration or Marketing
- Minimum one (1) year of sales experience, preferably in transportation industry
- Bilingualism (English & French) is required
- Organized, confident and be motivated to find solutions for customers
- Strong presentation, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization
- Strong transportation operational knowledge is an asset
- Must have a valid driver’s license #LI-MA1
