This role will drive the development and execution of data solutions that enhance decision-making, support innovation, and optimise operations across the organisation. They will ensure the seamless integration of data from multiple sources, build robust data analytics capabilities, and deliver insights that empower business leaders to achieve strategic goals. The position plays a key role in fostering a data-driven culture and ensuring data integrity, governance, and security. Key Responsibilities: Develop and lead the data and business intelligence strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and fostering data-driven decision-making. Manage the design, implementation, and optimisation of data architecture, data warehouses, and business intelligence tools. Oversee data integration from multiple sources and ensure the quality, integrity, and consistency of organizational data. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide business insights through advanced data analytics, reporting, and visualization tools. Lead efforts to identify data trends and opportunities for operational improvements, customer experience enhancement, and innovation. Ensure data governance policies, compliance standards, and security protocols are implemented and maintained across all systems. Drive the implementation of predictive analytics, machine learning, and AI to support business innovation and forecasting. Lead a team of data analysts, data engineers, and business intelligence professionals to support the data strategy. Partner with business leaders to understand key business questions and deliver actionable insights through customized dashboards and reports. Maintain relationships with external vendors, ensuring service delivery excellence and cost efficiencies in data tools and platforms. Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in leading data strategy and business intelligence initiatives in a large, multi-divisional organisation. Expertise in data architecture, data warehousing, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Data Lakes, SQL/Cosmos/Mongo, Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, etc.). Strong experience in data governance, data quality, and security frameworks, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into data solutions that drive performance improvements and strategic outcomes. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and influence at all levels of the organisation. Experience with predictive analytics, machine learning, and AI technologies to deliver business value. Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritise and execute multiple data initiatives concurrently. Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree in Data Science, IT, Business Analytics, or a related field. Certifications in data management, business intelligence, or project management (e.g., CDMP, CBIP, PMP). Experience in managing data platforms and cloud infrastructure (e.g., Azure, AWS). Expertise in AI and automation tools applied to data analytics.
