Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and create game menus, User Interfaces (UI), Heads-Up Displays (HUD), in-world graphics, logos, iconography systems, and motion graphics.
- Execute UX designs from wireframes and functionality documentation to finished UI art.
- Collaborate closely with the UX team, Engineers, Game Designers, and Creative Directors to develop visually stunning game UI and HUD elements.
- Produce UI/HUD documentation, animation diagrams, and style guides.
- Implement and refine UI designs in Unity to enhance gameplay experience and visual appeal.
- Maintain and evolve the UI to strengthen the brand and uphold a unique style.
- Foster a professional demeanor and maintain a positive attitude throughout project development.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years in implementing game UI/HUD art.
- Demonstrated experience with shipping at least one AA/AAA game on Console or PC in the past 3 years.
- Proven ability to work with Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
- Mastery of digital illustration tools, including Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Experience in working within a distributed or remote team setting.
- Solid understanding of UX design best practices and interaction design fundamentals.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and adeptness in collaborative teamwork.
- Ability to adapt to rapid prototyping, iteration, and context switching across projects.
- Proficiency in English, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
- A track record of creativity and innovation in UI design.
