Drive Operational Excellence
- Implement and maintain best operational practices while continuously seeking improvements to increase efficiency and meet budgeted gross margins.
Oversee Installation
- Manage dispatching, material ordering, truck and tool inventory, and warehouse organization for all installation jobs.
Manage Branch Resources
- Oversee labor allocation, vendor agreements, fleet, inventory, and facility operations to protect company assets and control costs.
Ensure Safety Compliance
- Lead all safety-related efforts, including OSHA compliance, training, incident tracking, and corrective actions to maintain a safety-first culture.
Maintain Licensing and Code Compliance
- Ensure all licensing, permitting, and code requirements are met and documentation is accurate and current.
Lead and Develop the Service Team
- Recruit, train, schedule, and coach service staff to drive team performance and uphold company standards.
Optimize Workforce Scheduling
- Analyze personnel schedules and workloads to ensure efficiency and profitability while delivering excellent customer service.
Train Field Personnel
- Provide ongoing training using Success Academy®, in-house sessions, webinars, and ride-alongs to ensure technical and procedural competence.
Monitor Field Performance
- Conduct job site inspections, review service paperwork, and verify that documentation and reporting standards are consistently met.
Support Dispatch Operations
- Assist dispatch with technician-job matching to ensure the right technician is assigned based on expertise and service priority.
Promote Brand Standards
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold One Hour’s values by following all uniform, safety, and conduct policies while respecting customer property.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Must have a minimum of 10 years of verifiable managerial, technical, and sales experience in HVAC or related field.
• Knowledge of the fundamental of operational functionality of residential and light commercial heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment.
• Knowledge of the layout, installation, and service requirements for residential and light commercial HVAC.
• Must have comprehensive knowledge of current HVAC products.
• Consistent track record of meeting/exceeding annual revenue goals.
• Ability to understand effects of economic, financial, and market conditions on the business.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Knowledge of local codes and permitting requirements.
• Computer proficiency to include Microsoft Word and Excel. Large group office management experience.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
