Job Description
- The Digital Trading Assistant will be primarily responsible for reporting, analysis and supporting the Digital Trading Manager with trading insights and initiatives. He/she will be managing the day-to-day AdHoc requests that will support the business and commercial team in meeting its goals.
Functional Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the distribution and creation of standard and ad-hoc analyses to help track and communicate all aspects of performance for critical business decisions
- Track and understand the key macro trends that impact our businesses on a day-to-day basis
- Monitor daily, weekly, monthly performance of the brand vs. targets and budget
- Work together with the Digital Trading and Merchandising teams to continuously help improve assortment with data driven decisions
- Assist organizing and running weekly trade meetings, by helping to share insights and learnings, as well as tactically planning for the following weeks with the Digital Trading Manager
- Provide analytics, sizing, and input into business cases for new strategic initiatives
- Work cross-functionally with stakeholders to automate reports as well as develop the business requirements needed for alerts and automation
- Help in developing and presenting materials around business performance and revenue generating opportunities
- Work closely with teams throughout the company, including Commercial, Technology, Product, Business Operations, Growth, Finance, and Marketing to coordinate and execute against the business plan
- Produce, analyze, and report on KPIs daily, weekly and when required
- Work with the user experience team to identify areas of improvement across the websites
- Perform regular competitor analysis, highlighting opportunities to wider online team
Education/Certification and Continued Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Finance, Analytics, or any related field
Years of Experience
- 1-3 years of experience working in a high volume, high quality, fast-paced environment
- Experience in E-commerce or retail with digital capabilities is an advantage
- Experience in data analysis / reporting and presentation delivery
Knowledge and Skills
- Needs to be at ease with excel and use of data tools to obtain and/or assess analytical information
- Well-rounded skills, able to understand the different roles within an e-commerce organization
- Keen to listen to peers and willing to help others to achieve common goals
- Must be well organized and proactive, with the ability to handle multiple tasks at a fast pace
- Excellent sense of prioritization and timing
- Articulate communication both verbal and written

- English
