Team Overview and Job Responsibilities

Based in Heredia, Belén, we are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate daily warehousing activities. In this role, you will implement production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards while ensuring the appropriate level of output is achieved within established timelines. Ultimately, you will ensure that daily operations meet and exceed performance expectations while maintaining strong safety and security practices. Availability and proven capability to work under a weekly rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the day-to-day activities of a team responsible for receiving, handling, storing, recording, and dispatching goods within the warehouse.

  • Plan and coordinate dispatch operations, including land and maritime transportation logistics.

  • Provide inputs to planning processes to ensure adequate inventory levels to meet organizational needs, including managing out-of-stock and overstock situations.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records by entering and retrieving data in warehouse management systems; respond to inquiries related to inventory levels and delivery schedules.

  • Monitor warehouse operations to ensure goods are stored safely, correctly, and efficiently, optimizing space utilization.

  • Evaluate operational procedures, space usage, and equipment protection practices, and propose continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Prioritize and assign tasks effectively to ensure optimal use of team resources and achievement of operational targets.

  • Supervise staff to guarantee that all warehouse operations and equipment are handled safely and in compliance with company standards.

  • Train and onboard new employees in organizational processes, procedures, and safety standards.

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electrical, Production Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

  • Solid knowledge of warehouse processes, business systems, and logistics operations, including land and maritime transportation.

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in logistics operations, including prior experience leading warehouse or logistics teams.

  • Proven experience in inventory management.

  • Experience in data analysis and interpretation to support operational decision-making.

  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools.

  • SAP experience is a plus.

  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge or certification is considered a strong advantage.
