Join our team in Amanjena. Inspired by the rose-hued buildings of old Marrakech, palatial Amanjena is close to the fabled Red City, set in its own expanse of gardens and grand open spaces. Shaded courtyards with fountains lead to the central basin, bordered by spacious standalone Pavilions & Maisons, many with private pools. Views stretch across the olive groves and palms of the oasis, extending to the High Atlas Mountains on the horizon.
Role
The Reservation Agent's mission is to respond to all reservations and requests according to hotel standards. The Reservation Agent is expected to use sales techniques effectively to promote all the hotel's services.
Responsibilities
Be a source of information and ongoing support for clients and business partners
Identify guest requests and anticipate solutions and responses
Adhere to all departmental and hotel procedures and standards with honesty and rigor
Respond to all telephone and e-mail inquiries on the same day
Receive and record telephone and e-mail reservations
Carry out all reservation changes and cancellations
Prepare replies and confirmation letters according to departmental and hotel policies and standards
Send replies after verification and validation by Reservations Manager
Check acknowledgements of receipt after e-mail dispatch Inform and communicate all messages to the Reservations Manager (reservation changes, etc.)
Coordinate with all other departments on guest requests
Inform the Reservations Manager immediately of any irregularities, VIPs, complaints
Respond to guests' questions and requests for information, whether by telephone, Internet, mail or other sources and ensure follow-up
Respond to guest reservation requests after checking room availability and rates
Establish and maintain productive and effective relationships with colleagues and superiors
Ensure the confidentiality and data security for guest information
Carry out all tasks assigned by the manager, within the scope of his professional category and according to his skills
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in Reservations, preferrably in luxury hospitality.
Fluent in English and French.
Exceptional interpersonal and guest relations abilities.
Flexible and adaptable, and strong attention to detail.
