What you’ll do:
The Patient Service Representative functions in a customer service capacity for the Self-Pay Team for Loyola University Health System (LUHS). This individual is able to address patient account-related questions, as well as assist patients in understanding their health insurance in relation to LUHS. Focusing primarily on self-pay balances, updates account information, collects open patient balances, makes payment arrangements and account adjustments, and contacts insurance companies on patients' behalf.
Shift: Mon-Fri -7:00am - 3:30pm

What you’ll need for this job:
Minimum Education:
Required: High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education
Preferred: Associates Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education
Compensation:
Pay Range: $16.70- $25.53 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
