Role Overview
As a Neurodiagnostic Technologist I – Pool, you will perform neurodiagnostic procedures in accordance with established professional standards while supporting high‑quality diagnostic neuroscience services.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing all neurodiagnostic procedures in accordance with ABRET technical standards
- May perform EEG, Long-Term Monitoring (LTM), Transcranial Doppler (TCD), and Evoked Potentials in accordance with BayCare and national technical standards
- Maintaining and advancing clinical and technical knowledge across diagnostic neuroscience disciplines
- Ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance in all neurodiagnostic testing activities
- Working under supervision until competency is demonstrated; on‑call duties will not be performed independently until after six (6) months of employment unless competency is approved by the Neurodiagnostics Supervisor or Manager
- Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education
Required (one of the following):
- Graduation from, or enrollment within six (6) months of hire in, a CAAHEP‑accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology (NDT) program, OR
- Graduation from, or enrollment within six (6) months of hire in, an ABRET‑recognized program, OR
- Associate’s degree or higher (or enrollment within six months of hire), OR
- Five (5) years of related experience
Experience
Required:
- One (1) year of experience in Neurodiagnostics
Licensure / Certification
Required:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- Seizure First Aid Certification (SFAC) within 30 days of hire
