The Importance of the Role
 

The Commercial Operations Co-op will play a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making across Sarepta’s commercial organization. This position offers hands-on experience in analyzing and transforming data into actionable insights that inform strategic initiatives and operational execution.

The co-op will work cross-functionally with stakeholders to develop and enhance reporting aligned with business rules, ensure data accuracy through rigorous testing, and support systems that drive field operations, including platforms such as Veeva. In addition, this role will contribute to improving operational efficiency by automating processes and documenting data and workflows to support scalability and consistency across the organization.

This role provides a unique opportunity to build technical expertise in data analytics, business intelligence tools (such as Tableau), and SQL, while gaining exposure to the intersection of commercial strategy and business operations in a fast-paced biopharmaceutical environment.

The Opportunity to Make a Difference

As a Commercial Operations Co-op, you will contribute to initiatives that enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and insights of Sarepta’s commercial operations. Responsibilities may include:

  • Developing and enhancing dashboards and reports to support stakeholders across the commercial organization, ensuring alignment with defined business rules

  • Performing data validation and testing to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of reporting outputs

  • Supporting field operations through system management and optimization, including tools such as Veeva

  • Identifying opportunities to automate and streamline business processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort

  • Assisting in the documentation of data definitions, business logic, and operational processes by creating and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs)

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions and actionable insights

This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by strengthening data visibility, improving operational workflows, and enabling informed decision-making across the commercial organization.

Program Timeline

This application is for a 6-month co-op program that will start on July 13th, 2026, and conclude on December 18th, 2026. This is a full-time, 40 hours a week, co-op program.

More about You

  • Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in life sciences (Chemistry, Biology, or related) 

  • Experience with data analytics, BI tools (e.g., Tableau), and coding in SQL

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

This position is hybrid, you will be expected to work on site at one of Sarepta’s facilities in the United States and/or attend Company-sponsored in-person events from time to time.

The targeted salary range for this position is $22 - $34 per hour depending upon years of education completed and nature of role.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
