Job Description

Why Sarepta? Why Now?

The promise of genetic medicine has arrived, and Sarepta is at the forefront. We hold a leadership position in Duchenne muscular dystrophy (Duchenne) and are building a robust portfolio of programs across muscle, central nervous system, and cardiac diseases. In 2023, we launched our fourth therapy and the first ever gene therapy to treat Duchenne.

We’re looking for people who see unlimited potential in themselves and who are motivated by an unwavering commitment to patients.

What Sarepta Offers

At Sarepta, we care deeply about all the people in our community and believe in the importance of supporting them in all aspects of their lives. We aspire to maintain a culture that acknowledges people bring their whole selves to work, and we will strive to help everyone in our community integrate their work and personal lives while maintaining productivity.

The Importance of the Role

The Manufacturing Team at Sarepta Therapeutics is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented co-op student to join our team. This position provides broad exposure to key functional areas within the biotech industry, including change control, documentation management, validation, process controls, CMC regulatory project management, and equipment automation and data collection. Individuals will gain hands-on experience supporting both routine manufacturing operations and strategic, project-based initiatives, developing a well-rounded understanding of how complex biotech programs are executed.

The Opportunity to Make a Difference

  • Gain hands-on experience in balancing routine manufacturing operations with project-based initiatives, helping drive execution while maintaining a strong focus on compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement

  • Collaborate with technical subject matter experts to design and build reporting frameworks that track manufacturing execution and project-based workstreams (e.g., validations, tech transfers, quality system initiatives), leveraging platforms such as Veeva to enhance visibility into timelines and deliverables

  • Work closely with stakeholders to define, monitor, and report on key metrics and performance indicators, supporting compliance and operational decision-making, while contributing to the ongoing evolution toward more automated and scalable reporting within existing systems

  • Drive project-based work independently, managing activities and deliverables within Veeva while gaining broad exposure to project management processes, cross-functional collaboration, and lifecycle management of initiatives entering and exiting the system

  • Partner with technical mentors to build foundational skills in reporting, systems, and coding, supporting both individual professional development and broader team capabilities

Program Timeline

This application is for a 6-month co-op program that will start on July 13th, 2026, and conclude on December 18th, 2026. This is a full-time, 40 hours a week, co-op program.

More about You

  • Undergraduate (Junior or Senior) or graduate student pursuing a degree in Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or other life-science related field

  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Familiarity with cGMP and cGDP is a plus

What Now?

We’re always looking for solution-oriented, critical thinkers.

So, if you’re comfortable with ambiguity and candor, relish challenging yourself, and place kindness and integrity at the forefront of how you approach your peers and work, then we encourage you to apply.
