National Protection Officer (Humanitarian Protection)

Under the overall supervision of the Deputy Chief of Mission and the direct supervision of the Senior Protection Coordinator, the National Protection Officer (Humanitarian Protection) supports the coordination, implementation, and monitoring of activities within the Humanitarian Protection sub-unit. The role contributes to the effective delivery of protection programming across Türkiye by supporting operational oversight, progress monitoring, reporting, documentation, and compliance with IOM protection standards and donor requirements. The incumbent also assists in the development of tools, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and capacity-building initiatives related to humanitarian protection activities, including Emergency Case Management (ECM), Protection Desks, and Voluntary Return and Advisory Desks.
