JOB SUMMARY
Prepare, cook, and serve customers in outlets within casino.

HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY
- Take orders from customers and serve the order when ready.
- Rings in the order on the register correctly and accepts payment.
- Stocks and replenishes condiments, napkins, straws and other counter items.
- Cleans counters, tables and trays.
- Help put trucks away on delivery day.
- Will make sure that all money and paperwork is in an orderly manner everyday.
- Assists with daily preparations.
- Cooks’ food according to what is ordered by customers.
- Prepares produce for service.
- Cut meat.
- Follows prescribed sanitary safeguards in handling all food and cleaning all surfaces.
- Will abide by all safety requirements as outlined in the Safety Manual or as required by individual departments and/or job functions.
- Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Must be 18 years of age or older (Individuals, 18-20 years of age, maybe employed in a non-gaming role with the licensing waiver so they are able to access the casino floor to fulfill their job duties and will not perform any function involving gambling by the patrons.)
Proficient in English verbal and written and have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
High school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Must have an outgoing, energetic and enthusiastic attitude. Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests.
- Flexible with working various shifts, weekends, holidays, and long hours if applicable. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the property.
- Responsible for fostering a fun environment, being gracious to all guests and co-workers, and for promoting a positive influence in the community and participating in company- sponsored events. Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures that behavior and appearance comply with established standards. Maintains a professional work environment with management and staff.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to frequently push/pull or lift up to 27 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities such as close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to fingers to handle or feel, reach with hand and arms, and talk or hear, and taste or smell. Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a non-gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission. Will require access to back-of-house areas, including restrooms and breakroom, may require periodically access through the gaming facility, does not require access to confidential/proprietary information.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts.
