Lead From the Chair. Build the Team. Drive the Experience.
Diesel Barbershop is looking for a licensed Barber or Cosmetologist to join our leadership team as a Co-Manager.
This is a working leadership position for someone who takes pride in their craft, leads by example, and knows how to create an outstanding client experience. You'll spend most of your day behind the chair cutting hair while helping support team development, daily operations, and shop performance.
This is not a booth rental position. This is a hands-on leadership role with growth opportunities inside a rapidly expanding brand.
Exciting News: We're opening another location this summer in Stone Oak at 23635 Wilderness Oak, San Antonio, TX 78258, located in the H-E-B Shopping Center.
What You'll Do
Behind the Chair
- Deliver exceptional men's haircuts, fades, beard trims, and straight razor shaves
- Build strong client relationships that drive retention and rebooking
- Recommend professional grooming products that support client goals
- Create a consistent, high-quality experience for every client
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead by example through professionalism, reliability, and positive energy
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members
- Coach barbers and stylists on performance goals, service standards, and client retention
- Help maintain a strong team culture built on accountability and support
Shop Operations
- Uphold Diesel service standards and operating procedures
- Support scheduling, appointment management, and daily shop flow
- Assist with cash handling, deposits, and end-of-day procedures
- Resolve client concerns professionally and confidently
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
What We're Looking For
- Active Barber or Cosmetology License in Texas
- Strong skills in men's haircuts, fades, beard work, and straight razor services
- Previous leadership, training, or management experience preferred
- Strong communication and coaching skills
- Reliable, professional, and solution-oriented
- Available to work evenings and weekends
- Passionate about delivering great service and helping others grow
