Job Description
Senior Full Stack Software Engineer – For Action Center & Cloud Component Team
Who we are
For over 50 years, we have worked closely with investment and asset managers to become the world’s leading provider of integrated investment management solutions.
We are 4,000+ colleagues with a broad range of nationalities, educations, professional experiences, ages, and backgrounds. SimCorp is an equal opportunity employer, committed to building a culture where diverse perspectives and expertise are part of our everyday work.
We believe in the continual growth and development of our employees so we can provide best-in-class solutions for our clients. While striving to deliver client value, we believe it is vital to consider our people and our planet in every business decision we make. Acting responsibly is not optional — it is essential.
Why is this role important to us?
We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Action Center and Shared Components team with AI development experience.
The team focuses on building and maintaining strategic shared cloud components which play a vital role in shaping our cloud offering. As part of this team, your initial focus will be on our Action Center that will incorporate AI workflows and tools and thereby help drive SimCorp’s AI agenda. Over time, the team’s focus will shift toward additional shared cloud components where we can create a similarly high impact and drive further innovation. You will join a collaborative engineering team working in an agile and DevOps-oriented setup. We work across the full stack using Azure, .NET, TypeScript, and Angular. We actively explore modern engineering practices and AI-assisted development workflows, including tools such as Claude Code, to support experimentation, learning, and increase developer productivity. We value engineers who care deeply about what they build - not only from a technical perspective, but also from a user and business perspective. We are looking for someone curious, creative, and motivated by building solutions that create real value for users.
What you’ll do
- Design, develop, test, and maintain modern cloud-based applications across the full stack.
- Role model DevOps practices and take full ownership of our shared components stability, useability, accessibility, documentation, and overall quality and adoption.
- Collaborate closely with other engineers, as well as product stakeholders, UX designers, and architects to shape solutions that solve real user problems.
- Contribute to frontend and backend development using technologies such as .NET, TypeScript, and Angular.
- Help define and evolve technical architecture, engineering practices, and development workflows.
- Participate in discovery, experimentation, and iterative product development.
- Take part in improving CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and developer experience.
- Continuously explore opportunities to improve how we work, what we build, and the value we create for our clients.
What you’ll bring
We imagine your profile looks something like this:
- You have experience as a software engineer working across both frontend and backend technologies.
- You have experience with modern frontend architecture and development using frameworks such as Angular and TypeScript. Experience with React or similar frontend frameworks is also valuable.
- You have experience implementing AI technologies such as AI agents and A2A protocols.
- You have experience with C#, .NET, and cloud-based development.
- You are familiar with Azure cloud services and modern DevOps practices.
- You care about building high-quality, maintainable software and have experience with automated testing.
- You are curious about users, workflows, and business problems — not just technical implementation.
- You enjoy collaborating with others, sharing ideas, and helping shape both solutions and ways of working.
- You thrive in environments where we learn and iterate as we go, and where creativity and initiative are valued.
- You have experience working in agile product development teams.
Experience with micro frontends, distributed systems, or investment management workflows is a plus, but not required.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who cares about creating meaningful solutions and is motivated by learning, improving, and building great products together with the team.
