Our Business Services Value Stream is comprised of several individual Value Teams that collectively deliver the outcomes needed to our Business Services team. The individual Value Teams will be comprised of all the resources, skills and capabilities required to plan, code/configure, build, test, release, deploy, support and monitor our solutions.
As Consultant/Senior Consultant in the Value Team you will be a key contributor to the Reporting solution. We are looking for people with business and technical backgrounds
What you will be responsible for
- Participate in the design, build, and configuration of Reporting solutions, learning to apply best practices around scalability and maintainability.
- Deliver assigned reporting tasks and features end-to-end, with oversight from senior colleagues.
- Learn and apply established best practices in Reporting development, including coding standards, naming conventions, and documentation.
- Participate in config reviews and share knowledge with peers as you develop your technical depth.
- Support the standardization of Business Services solutions by following defined frameworks and flagging improvement opportunities.
- Support new ways of working and actively contribute to team transformation initiatives.
- Assist in onboarding Business Services clients to the Reporting solution under senior guidance.
- Build working relationships with stakeholders across the value chain, including Solution Architects and Product Managers/Owners.
- Contribute to automation efforts - testing, deploying, and building - as you develop your tooling knowledge.
- Invest in your own learning and share your findings with the team.
What we value
To be able to quickly onboard into this role we expect you have the following qualifications
- Experience in gathering business requirements and working with various stakeholders
- Familiarity with the configuration and development of Data Warehouse reports.
- Knowledge in SimCorp Dimension IBOR workflows (e.g. Transaction Status level, Auxiliary jobs etc.) and derivative products (e.g., swaps, options, futures, forwards) across asset classes (equity, fixed income, FX, commodities, etc.)
- Experience in working with technical solutions for Reporting using advanced DEX, DFS, Integration Model (SIM’), Communication Server (a plus), Trade Repository Pool
- Knowledge and experience in configuration implementation and testing
- Enabling and sharing knowledge with other team members
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and experience in project management will be considered a plus
Other requirement:
- Able to work in the EMEA time zone
- 2x RTO per week
