- Lead and manage overall facilities operations and maintenance to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient building operations.
- Oversee the maintenance team across Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil systems, ensuring timely execution of preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Manage daily facilities management activities including operations, resource planning, and incident or crisis management.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory regulations, QHSE requirements, and industry standards.
- Monitor service delivery performance and ensure achievement of operational KPIs and service level targets.
- Oversee maintenance programs for key Mechanical & Electrical systems, including HV/LV systems, UPS, air-conditioning, fire protection systems, and standby generators.
- Conduct regular inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance planning to ensure optimal equipment reliability.
- Act as the main liaison for site operations, maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders.
- Manage and evaluate contractors, vendors, and service providers, ensuring compliance with service agreements and performance standards.
- Support procurement activities including vendor selection, quotation evaluation, and cost control for facilities services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or plant/facility operations, preferably within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of M&E systems, utilities management, and building infrastructure.
- Proven experience managing maintenance teams and external service contractors.
- Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to prepare operational and performance reports.
