Job Description

Are you ready to shape the future of frontline operations through digital solutions? Do you get energy from leading global transformation initiatives that improve how production teams work every day? Can you bring structure, stakeholder alignment, and momentum to complex digital roll-outs across an international manufacturing network? Then join our team today to help build and scale Arla’s future Connected Worker platform across Supply Chain.

You will join a growing and ambitious team of program managers in the Global Operational Excellence and Digital Transformation TMO in Supply Chain. The team drives the planning and execution of strategic initiatives across our value chain - from farm to fridge - with a strong focus on production operations. These include the portfolio management and scaling of digital solutions developed as part of Arla’s Future26 strategy, the development and continuous improvement of the Arla Performance System, and the establishment of functional communities and standards that help sites perform at their best.

In this role, you will lead the implementation and long-term ownership of Arla’s future Connected Worker platform - a mobile-first solution that gives shopfloor employees access to work instructions, training, communication, and problem-solving tools in one place. The platform will support safer and more consistent ways of working while strengthening knowledge sharing and continuous improvement across our manufacturing network.

How you will make an impact

As our new Global Digital Portfolio Manager - Connected Worker, you will act as both the global project manager during implementation and the long-term Solution Owner (Subject Matter Expert and Product Owner) for the platform. Working closely with IT, production sites, vendors, and operational stakeholders, you will help ensure successful deployment and adoption across the organization.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Leading the global implementation and scaling of the Connected Worker platform across production sites
  • Acting as the main coordinator across IT, vendors, sites, and other digital solution owners
  • Supporting onboarding, training, deployment, and adoption activities at sites
  • Managing project plans, governance processes, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication
  • Gathering feedback from end-users and continuously improving the platform roadmap and functionality
  • Tracking KPIs related to adoption and operational impact
  • Presenting project updates and recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders
  • Supporting change management and super-user community activities to ensure sustainable adoption

.

What will make you successful?

We imagine that the ideal candidate combines strong project management capabilities with experience implementing and scaling digital manufacturing solutions in a global environment.

We are looking for a new colleague who brings

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • Solid experience managing digital transformation or digital solution roll-outs across multiple sites
  • Experience with Connected Worker platforms such as Poka or similar frontline digital tools is highly advantageous
  • Strong understanding of shopfloor operations and continuous improvement
  • Confidence coordinating across IT, production sites, vendors, and business stakeholders
  • Ability to present project updates and recommendations to executive-level stakeholders
  • Experience taking digital solutions from pilot stage to globally scaled operations
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus
  • Flexibility to travel approximately 5-10 working days per month to support on-site roll-outs and training activities

What do we offer?

At Arla, you will join a high-performing international team at the forefront of operational excellence and digital transformation. You will have the opportunity to shape Arla’s digital future while working in a collaborative environment that supports both professional and personal development.

We offer

  • Opportunities to influence key global transformation initiatives
  • Professional development in a global FMCG organization
  • Flexible working arrangements and remote work possibilities
  • Competitive salary and benefits with a focus on work-life balance

Would you like to join us?
