you will be responsible for leading a team of backend developers and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. Your primary focus will be on developing and maintaining robust, scalable, and secure backend systems using Node.js for our global OTT platform.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of backend developers and provide technical guidance and mentorship.
- Work closely with product owners, architects, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Design and develop scalable and secure backend systems using Node.js and related technologies.
- Ensure code quality, test coverage, and adherence to coding standards.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, QA engineers, and other cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of integrated software solutions.
- Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of backend systems to ensure they meet or exceed service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and other technical forums to share knowledge and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends and evaluate their potential impact on DAZN's technology stack.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on backend development using Node.js and related technologies.
- Proven experience leading a team of developers and delivering high-quality software solutions.
- Strong knowledge of software development principles, including object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
