Job Description
We are looking for a technically strong and business-oriented specialist who wants to combine the Pre-Sales/Solution Architect role within Application and API Security, Edge/CDN, and become part of Telia Cygate.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both customer dialogue and advisory work during the sales phase, as well as independently designing, implementing, and deploying technical solutions in customer environments.
You will be a key person ensuring the right technical solution from the first customer meeting to final production.
My name is Petra Peric, Head of Cloud Operation, and I am looking for someone who wants to grow together with us. We are a supportive and forward-looking delivery team within Managed Services, a central unit responsible for delivering Hybrid & Cloud services within Telia Cygate. We are growing in this area and need to expand our team.
What you will do in the role:
In this role, you will be responsible for the overall technical delivery of our services within Application and API Security and Edge/CDN – from early dialogue during the sales phase to final implementation in the customer’s environment. You will work both strategically and operationally, focusing on ensuring the right technical solution that meets the customer’s requirements for security, performance, and scalability.
Pre-sales
- Support the sales organization with technical expertise throughout the sales process
- Participate in customer meetings and workshops to understand technical and business needs
- Present and demonstrate the functionality and possibilities of our services
- Develop technical solution proposals and architecture to ensure the right technical fit
- Act as a technical advisor and help build long-term customer trust
Solution Architect
- Design and implement the agreed solution
- Be responsible for deployment, configuration, and technical integration in the customer’s environment
- Lead the implementation and ensure the solution meets the defined requirements
- Collaborate closely with the customer’s technical team and internal resources throughout the delivery
- Ensure a structured handover to operations and service management
To succeed in this role:
- Experience in Pre-Sales, technical architecture, and/or implementation projects
- Strong knowledge of application and API security
- Understanding of web applications, APIs, networks, and security architecture
- Experience working in cloud and hybrid environments
- Ability to communicate complex technology in a clear and business-oriented way
- Fluent Swedish and English, both written and spoken
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Akamai App & API Protector
- Knowledge of Akamai’s other products and services (e.g. CDN, DDoS protection, Zero Trust, EdgeWorkers, etc.)
- Experience in customer-facing consulting roles and professional service delivery
- Certifications in security, cloud, or Akamai
- Experience with DevOps ways of working and CI/CD integrations
