Job Description
- Review documentation for all closed Mortgage and Home Equity loans for accuracy and completeness
- File any outstanding documents
- Prepare payoff quotes on Mortgage and Home Equity loans for both internal and external Attorneys and Institutions
- Process payoffs, prepare discharges and mail required paperwork
- Program Mortgage and Home Equity loans into the Credit Union systems
- Communicate and Coordinate with Attorneys or Officers concerning any relating matters
- Reconciling various escrow accounts
- Coordinate with various vendors on day-to-day functions and any issues that may arise
- Handling construction loan functions such as inspections, disbursements and any required holdbacks
- Secondary Market Remittance
- Monitoring and maintaining periodic rate changes
- Servicing Home Equity Lines of Credit
- Coordinating between the Credit Union and members in regards to inquires
- Promote overall BSA Compliance by adhering to all BSA and OFAC Regulations specific to job function and by assisting BSA Department as necessary with any departmental function specific items
- Will actively promote the security and privacy of member and employee information through adherence to both information security and physical security policies, procedures, and governing regulations. Training will be completed at least annually for Information Security topics, BSA, and GLBA; annual BSA training will be position specific. Annual training will also include courses on any of the following regulations as they relate to the position described herein: SAFE ACT, Regulations B, C, D, E CC, DD, and Z as well as any training deemed necessary to promote adherence to applicable regulatory requirements.

- Prior mortgage servicing or credit union experience is required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy.
- A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Equal Credit Opportunity Act, RESPA, Regulation Z, Truth in Lending, and other applicable laws.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to be available for work punctually, and as scheduled.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Prior Credit Union or Banking experience required.
- Prior mortgage servicing experience required.
Note: This range reflects the full salary band for positions at this level. Individual compensation is determined based on experience, skills, and internal equity.
Pay Range: $17 - $26 per hour
