Job Description
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Credit Cards industry ecosystem, Risk Business Models and Programmatic Platforms, as well as deep Forecasting methodologies.
He/she should demonstrate natural curiosity for challenging the status quo and evolve current methodologies & data, it is important to be a strong/top performer in his peer group with outstanding communication skills at Executive levels (Direction & Vice-presidency) in Spanish & English.
This role needs someone that can manage strict deadlines, have maniacal focus on details and quality of deliverables (data reports, forecasting, develop executive presentations, business cases, etc), can ramp up quickly the learning curve for understanding American Express business model, KPIs, financials and information sources.
Teamwork and collaboration attitude are a must to ensure goal achievement for the business unit.
Centralize several planning activities ranging from strategic planning, channel analytics, managing performance dashboards and perform sales scenarios in short window times.
Channels budget monitoring and assure annual spend accomplishment.
Develop skills that combine external and internal information with Amex business priorities to build analysis that provide insights to achieve our sales goals and growth ambition.
Communicate clearly and lead conversations while have common sense for timely escalations.
Develop high sensitivity over sales channels and be capable to identify quickly trend deviations and identify root causes and support Direction with solutions proposals.
Responsible of annual and monthly Sales Plans upload on official platforms.
Develop scenarios planning to drive informed decision-making
Bachelor's Degree (Actuary, Economics, Business Engineering, and related) and at least 2 years of work experience
Fluent English Spoken and written
Knowledge of Payments Industry, acquisition sales channels
Strong Python or SQL programing skills
Advanced Excel skills
Highly detailed oriented
Ability to prioritize multiple deliverables and manage multiple data requests follow ups
Strong relationship management and leadership skills
Effective at driving collaboration, influencing and working with cross functional partners at all levels
Excellent communication skills
Demonstrated experience in presenting to executive and senior leadership teams
Proficiency in financial metrics and analysis (P&L, ROI, etc)
