This position primarily serves as a key strategic partner to the business executive management team and the Board, supporting decision-making and driving sustainable business growth. The roles provide strategic financial leadership across the Group, ensuring long-term financial health, robust governance, and continuous value creation. It is responsible for shaping financial strategy, strengthening risk management, and enhancing overall business performance. In addition, the position plays a critical role in aligning financial objectives with corporate strategy, enabling the organization to achieve its growth ambitions while maintaining operational and financial disciplines.
ᴍᴀᴊᴏʀ ᴀʀᴇᴀꜱ ᴏꜰ ʀᴇꜱᴘᴏɴꜱɪʙɪʟɪᴛʏ
– Strategic Financial Leadership
o Provide forward-looking financial analysis to support Group-level planning and strategy.
o Deliver data-driven insights to enhance decision-making across the organization.
o Offer actionable recommendations to drive sustainable growth and achieve long-term business objectives.
– Global Financial Operations & Performance Management
o Oversee the Group’s overall financial operations ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with strategic goals.
o Monitor and manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost management and variance analysis.
o Architect and manage the company’s global treasury and capital strategy, as well as cultivating high-level banking relationships, and leveraging financial technology to enhance operational efficiency and safeguard corporate assets.
– Global Governance, Risk & Compliance
o Establish and continuously strengthen internal control systems and financial governance framework across the globe.
o Lead risk management initiatives to identify, assess, and mitigate financial and operational risks.
o Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies.
o Lead the company’s global tax strategy, focusing on optimizing the effective tax rate (ETR), and overseeing transfer pricing policies, ensuring robust compliance with evolving international tax frameworks, and mitigating cross-border tax risks, including integrate tax efficiency with business operations and leveraging R&D incentives while maintaining a strong safeguard against global audit and regulatory exposures.
– Organizational Leadership & Talent Development
o Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing global finance team aligned with the Group’s vision and values.
o Drive talent development, including coaching, capability building, and succession planning.
o Enhance organizational effectiveness by fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
ᴊᴏʙ ʀᴇǫᴜɪʀᴇᴍᴇɴᴛꜱ
– Fluent in both English and Chinese, with strong communication and presentation skills.
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
– A minimum of 20 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, culminating in a senior executive role (e.g., CFO, VP of Finance) within a global organization.
– Demonstrated strategic mindset and global leadership, with a proven track record of navigating complex global business challenges through innovative thinking.
– Experience in corporate projects, financial strategy, corporate finance, risk management, and implementation of global SAP systems.
