We are seeking a forward-thinking IT Manager to oversee and coordinate IT operations for our overseas branches. Acting as the bridge between headquarters and regional offices, this role will ensure that regional IT teams deliver stable, efficient, and scalable IT services while adhering to global security and technical policies. Beyond maintaining infrastructure, we look for a technology innovator who embraces new solutions and integrates digital transformation strategies into regional operations, creating tangible technical value and competitive advantages for the company.
ᴍᴀᴊᴏʀ ᴀʀᴇᴀs ᴏғ ʀᴇsᴘᴏɴsɪʙɪʟɪᴛʏ
• Regional IT Strategy & Governance:
1. Ensure that overseas IT operations fully comply with IT policies, security standards, and compliance requirements established by headquarters.
2. Establish and optimize regional IT Service Management (ITSM) processes to enhance Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
3. Serve as the primary liaison between headquarters and regional offices to ensure consistency and execution of technical decisions.
• Infrastructure Management:
1. Oversee the stability and performance of IT infrastructure (servers, networks, cloud architecture, and end-user devices) at overseas branches.
2. Lead the planning, execution, and drills for regional Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
3. Manage regional IT budgets, including asset lifecycle management and cost optimization.
• Global IT Collaboration Frameworks:
1. Leverage strategic capability and experience in designing global IT service collaboration frameworks and deployments to ensure seamless cross-regional operations.
2. Align regional IT service delivery models with global standards to maximize efficiency and resource sharing.
• Innovation & Value Creation:
1. Actively explore and evaluate the potential impact of emerging technologies (e.g., AI applications, automation tools, cloud-native architecture) on the business.
2. Proactively identify opportunities for technical optimization, transforming new technologies into concrete business value to improve operational efficiency or reduce costs.
3. Foster a culture of technical experimentation, encouraging the team to adopt new tools and methodologies to address long-standing technical debt or operational pain points.
• Team Leadership & Talent Development:
1. Lead, mentor, and develop overseas IT team members to build a high-performance technical culture.
2. Assess regional IT talent needs and develop training programs to ensure the team is equipped to handle new technical challenges.
ᴍɪɴɪᴍᴜᴍ ᴊᴏʙ ʀᴇǫᴜɪʀᴇᴍᴇɴᴛs
| – Education | – Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field. – 8+ years of IT-related experience, with at least 3 years in a multinational corporation or managing regional teams. |
| – Professional Skills | – Proficiency in enterprise-level IT infrastructure (Network, Cloud, Security, Server). – Experience with large-scale application (ERP/CRM) deployment and cross-border project management. – Deep understanding of information security frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST CSF). |
| – Personal Attributes & Soft Skills | – Strong technical curiosity and drive for innovation; not satisfied with the status quo and capable of proactively proposing technical improvements. – Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English, with strong cross-cultural coordination abilities to effectively manage multiple stakeholders. – Strong problem-solving skills, capable of making decisions under high-pressure environments. – Willingness to travel overseas, as well as to collaborate remotely with teams across different time zones. |
