Head of Commercial

Reporting to the Director of Strategy, Resilience & Regulation, the Commercial Function in Uisce Éireann supports and challenges the organisation in ensuring that business strategies, plans and outcomes are considered from a commercial perspective while operating in a regulated environment and for developing commercial strategies for the organisation. The function provides oversight and governance for the organisations Expenditure Approvals Committee, support to the Board for ad hoc in-depth reviews into particular areas of the business and ultimately has ownership of the Board paper review process.

The Head of Commercial is also responsible for the organisation’s Electricity Risk Management Committee and implementing the organisation’s electricity hedging strategy.
