  • are curious about technology

  • enjoy solving problems

  • work well with others

  • are motivated to keep learning

About the Apprenticeship

Starting in January 2027, this four-year programme combines practical, hands-on experience with formal training towards the Australian qualification Mobile Plant Technology Level 3.

You will learn how to:

  • inspect, maintain and repair heavy equipment

  • use diagnostic systems and technology

  • complete service documentation and compliance requirements

  • work safely and professionally in workshop and field environments

  • deliver high standards of customer service

You must:

  • Have completed, or be completing, Year 12 at school

  • Hold your restricted drivers license, with the ability to sit your full license by December 2026

  • Be a NZ citizen or permanent resident

We welcome applications from school leavers, career changers and people from a range of backgrounds, who can commit to the four year programme.

Why Terra Cat?
