We are seeking a highly motivated, analytical, and hands-on Senior Procurement Coordinator to support procurement, inventory management, material estimating, and master data governance across our Telecom, Water, and Power operations.
This role is designed for an independent thinker who enjoys solving complex problems, learning new things, and taking ownership of critical business functions. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project execution, bidding activities, material planning, and inventory management while helping develop and mentor a growing procurement team.

Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of procurement activities for assigned projects and regions, ensuring material availability, cost control, and operational readiness.
- Review bid packages, engineering drawings, specifications, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to identify material requirements, quantities, compliance requirements, lead times, procurement budgets, and purchasing strategies.
- Develop deep expertise in Telecom, Water, and Power construction materials, specifications, and industry standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and material consumption across multiple warehouse locations and projects.
- Maintain and improve Single Source of Truth (SSOT) by ensuring accurate item master data, naming standards, pricing records, and vendor information.
- Work closely with engineering, operations, warehouse personnel, vendors, and customers to support successful project execution.
- Create purchase orders, manage material transactions, and ensure inventory records remain accurate and up to date.
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, inventory controls, reporting, and data quality.
- Train, mentor, and support junior procurement and warehouse personnel while remaining capable of personally performing all core functions of the department.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Qualifications
- Strong ethics and integrity.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize competing demands, and make sound decisions with limited supervision.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technical concepts, specifications, systems, and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Telecom, Data Centers, Water Utility, Electric Utility, Construction, Procurement, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, or Warehouse Operations.
- Experience reviewing engineering drawings, construction plans, specifications, bid packages, and material takeoffs.
- Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or similar systems.
- Experience managing item master data, procurement databases, inventory systems, or material planning functions.
- Experience supervising, training, or mentoring personnel.
