Job Description
- Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
- Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
- Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts.
- Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments.
- Maintains inventories of equipment parts and supplies by checking stock and placing orders.
- Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
- Provides data for maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Experience in maintenance mechanic or similar role.
- Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, plumbing and code books.
- Basic mechanical, welding and cutting skills.
- Should be capable of reading mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints.
- Good problem-solving skills, safety practices and attention to quality.
- Have basic workbench and computer skills.
- Basic knowledge of relay logic, AC/DC motor drives, PLC & SLC and motor control circuits.
- Intermediate knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, plumbing, and code books.
- Repair knowledge of pumps, compressors, gear boxes and blowers.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
- The employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts.
- Frequently required lifting and/or moving up to 30 pounds.
- Frequently required standing, bending, squatting, and reaching with hands and arms.
- Regularly required to stand for extended periods, walk, talk, and hear.
- Ability to use hand tools.

Pay Range: $25 - $35 per hour
