The Associate Shopper Marketing Manager is responsible for leading category growth and identifying business opportunity to achieve company goal. You will work closely with sales and marketing to develop channel 5P plan and NPD plan to drive sales growth:
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute shopper-centric marketing plans that incorporate data insights with persuasive storytelling to drive sales.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales and brand teams to develop shopper activation 5P plans tailored to diverse retail environments.
- Analyze market data to identify business opportunity by channel (distribution, pricing, promotion, placement), translating findings into actionable trade initiatives that elevate in-store visibility and availability.
- Enhance shopper experiences via development point-of-sale materials .
- Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of trade or marketing programs and recommend improvements to drive sales and profitability.
- Manage trade marketing budget while delivering category target
- Key deliverables: NTS, GP, Market share, Offtake.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in shopper marketing, sales support, retail activation, or market research roles.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and generate actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain strategic partnerships.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work collaboratively within a team.
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in data analytics tools and shopper insights platforms to craft evidence-based marketing strategies.
- Proficiency in preparing sales presentations and marketing materials.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with cross-functional teams and external retail partners.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate market trends and creatively adapt marketing tactics to evolving shopper needs.
