What you will do

The Associate Project Manager is supporting cross-functional teams to successfully deliver: New Product Development launches, modifications to existing products, Portfolio Lifecycle Management through Product Performance Assessment and Optimization, and Value Creation through continuous improvement projects across the Supply Chain. 

The role responsibilities start from project conceptualization and definition through project launch and post launch activities related to lessons learnt, monitoring the contribution of the new initiative to the Brand Value and mitigation of risks that may arise. As part of this role, the Associate Manager is accountable for supporting the targets set during project definition and for handling timelines, risks, ensuring processes are followed, acts as a gate keeper to ensure value offer to our portfolio and managing project communication and criticalities. 

 

Key Responsibilities  

Lead overall project execution and accountable for achieving project goals on time. This includes: 

  • Project definition 

  • Project planning 

  • Assuring operational readiness 

  • Coordinating cross functional teams through each phase of the project and all activities to ensure project remains on track 

  • Monitoring and managing risks and opportunities 

  • Liaising, agreeing and communicating all aspects of the project to senior management 

  • Artwork management with an agency in case of new products 

Lead Process & Governance: Enable the fluid evaluation and approval of NPD, Lifecycle Management and Value Creation projects within EMEA. Support, identify, communicate, and escalate key issues with executive sponsors or key managers. Provide ongoing status communications to all levels of the organization. 

 

What we are looking for 

  • Bachelor’s degree in physical sciences, Engineering, Business & Marketing, or appropriate related field 

  • 4+ years’ experience in related field: 

  • managing cross functional expertise (R&D, Franchise Marketing, Packaging development, Procurement, Manufacturing)  

  • Project Management  

  • Experience with leadership and conflict resolution skills 

  • Effective written and oral communication skills 

  • Knowledge of team dynamics 

  • Broad business and organizational sense with knowledge of project related Finance 

  • Knowledge of planning and organization 

  • Experience with New Product Development processes and terminology 

  • High level of exposure to upper management, thus skills in rhetoric, presentation, and cross functional team member management will be highly appreciated 

Desired or Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities: 

  • Experience working in Consumer Goods 

  • Project Management Professional (PPM) 

  • Agility, Lean, Six Sigma Certifications
