Senior Analyst, Regulatory Intelligence

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced analyst to support the operationalization of processes supporting a central Regulatory Intelligence capability within the Risk & Compliance function. This role will focus on supporting and mature a comprehensive framework to analyze the global regulatory landscape and identify relevant regulations, and assess their potential impact across our products, services, and internal operations, considering our diverse product portfolio and market presence.

As a senior member of the Regulatory Intelligence team, you will conduct horizon scanning, identification, monitoring, and analysis of emerging regulatory developments across key jurisdictions and thematic areas. Your insights will directly support internal stakeholders and senior leadership by providing timely, actionable intelligence that strengthens regulatory awareness, supports decision-making, and enables proactive compliance planning. 

About The Role 

In this role as Senior Analyst, Regulatory Intelligence you will:

  • Support the development and operationalization of a centralized Regulatory Intelligence capability, including defining scalable processes and leading their day-to-day execution. 

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of regulatory developments and their drivers to assess potential impacts on products, services, business operations, strategic initiatives and industry standards across the globe 

  • Maintain regulatory databases, trackers, and tools to support efficient intelligence gathering and dissemination. 

  • Collaborate within cross-functional groups to drive proactive adherence to the changing regulatory requirements, and support decision-making. 

  • Deliver concise, actionable regulatory intelligence reports and briefings for internal stakeholders and leadership. 

  • Support regulatory compliance assessments and contribute to the development of remediation guidance. 

About You 

You're a fit for the role of a Senior Analyst, Regulatory Intelligence if you have the following required qualifications:

  • Experience in regulatory intelligence, horizon scanning, compliance, preferably in either technology or regulated industry. 

  • Strong understanding of global regulatory frameworks, policy trends, and guidance interpretation, particularly related to product groups and market entry. 

  • Excellent analytical skills, and proven ability to synthesize complex regulatory data into strategic insights and present them for a larger group. 

  • Experience with GRC platforms and systems 

  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and organizational skills; capable of working independently in a cross-functional environment. 

  • Experience with AI, process improvements, Microsoft power automate, API interoperability, data structure design and technology automation skills are of great benefit. 

Qualifications 

  • 5–7+ years in regulatory intelligence, horizon scanning and identification or compliance within a regulated industry (e.g., financial services, technology) 

  • Strong knowledge of global regulatory frameworks and regulatory change / applicability assessment 

  • Proven ability to analyze and translate regulatory developments into actionable insights 

  • Experience with GRC platforms and managing regulatory trackers / datasets 

  • Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication skills, including executive-ready reporting 

  • Structured, outcome-driven approach with ability to operate independently in cross-functional environments 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in law, Finance, Internacional Relations, Economics, Public Policy, or related field (Master’s or legal qualification is a plus) 

 

Nice to Have 

  • Experience with RegTech tools, AI-driven monitoring or automation (e.g. Power Automate, APIs) 

  • Exposure to process improvement or transformation initiatives 

  • Knowledge across multiple domains (AI, data privacy, cybersecurity, ESG, AML, Sanctions) 

  • Experience supporting compliance assessments or remediation activities 

  • Prior involvement in building or scaling regulatory intelligence frameworks

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. For Poland, the base compensation range for this role is 115,500 PLN - 214,500 PLN. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
