Company:
Boeing Aerospace OperationsBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is currently seeking an Associate Manufacturing Engineer to become part of the Executive Transportation Production Engineering team in San Antonio, TX.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies
- Participate as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the integration of technical solutions
- Assists with the implementation of manufacturing plans
- Co-author the development, identification and implementation of conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for the build
- Resolve technical problems and assist in the implementation of new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts
- Participates in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies
- Work with professional associations, suppliers, IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in San Antonio, TX.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret and a Yankee White Clearance Post-Start, Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
- 2+ years of experience related to product development (configuration management, design, integration, quality, etc.)
- 2+ years of experience researching and implementing new technologies and innovative practices in manufacturing processes, with a focus on enhancing efficiency and quality in aerospace production
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 2+ years of experience performing work per written documentation/authorities and knowledge of how release authority works
- 2+ years of experience in a Manufacturing environment as quality, manufacturing engineering or manufacturing
- 2+ years of experience working with multi-functional teams/organizations
- 2+ years of experience with data analysis and / or process improvements
- Experience with the following software: CAPP (MeSci), GoldEsp, REDARS-EID, IVT, WIRS, CATIA, ENOVIA, Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
