York is seeking a skilled and experienced Infrastructure Team Lead to oversee the planning and maintenance of the organization’s core IT infrastructure. This role is responsible for leading a team of Infrastructure Administrators and a Network Principal ensuring high availability, security, and performance across all systems including servers, networks, and storage. The Infrastructure Team Lead collaborates with cross-functional teams to support business objectives while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of infrastructure professionals, fostering high-performance, collaborative culture.
Prioritize and assign daily tasks, projects, and operational objectives.
Provide technical guidance and serve as an escalation point for complex infrastructure issues.
Lead infrastructure projects from design through implementation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Collaborate with IT leadership to plan infrastructure roadmaps and capacity forecasting.
Evaluate and recommend technologies that improve efficiency, scalability, and resilience.
Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Partner with cybersecurity team to support vulnerability management, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
Maintain documentation, runbooks, and architectural diagrams.
Participate in budgeting and vendor management activities.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
5+ years of progressive experience in IT operations, systems administration, or network management.
2+ years of leadership or team-lead experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), Windows/Linux servers, networking fundamentals, and cloud services (Azure/AWS).
Experience with monitoring tools, backup/restore systems, patch management, and automation scripts.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Willingness to work full-time in office at our Greenwood Village, CO location.
