The 340B Program Manager serves as a key subject-matter expert, partnering cross-functionally with Pharmacy, Finance, and IT to ensure program integrity, optimize performance, and maximize financial impact across the enterprise.
Location: Hybrid includes in-office and remote workdays. M-F Eastern Business hours with onsite meetings/ audits planned for business needs in Somerville and Boston. Must be flexible.
The Pharmacy 340B Program Manager is vital to the team and responsible for managing registration and participation in the 340B Program for all 340B covered entities and ensuring that all use of 340B throughout the organization
is fully compliant.

Qualifications
What You’ll Do
- Lead and oversee all aspects of the 340B program, including audit readiness, compliance, and regulatory adherence
- Drive split-billing operations, data analytics, and enterprise-level reporting to ensure accuracy and maximize savings
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to strengthen program performance
- Monitor and optimize contract pharmacy relationships and performance
- Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership across Pharmacy, Finance, and Compliance

Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy Pharmacy/Pharmaceutical Studies required
- Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No
- Pharmacy Managed Care Experience 5-7 years required
- Medicaid Experience 2-3 years required
- Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice pharmacy in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts preferred
Skills for Success & Other Duties
- Strong knowledge of 340B, supply chain, and pharmacy regulatory requirements (DPH, BORP, TJC, CMS, FDA, USP)
- Experience with health system supply chain operations and integrated EHR platforms (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Knowledge of hospital pharmacy systems and workflows
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and perform under pressure
- Proven ability to drive accountability and meet deadlines

- -Maintains knowledge and expertise on Section 340B rulings and related interpretations, including new and proposed regulations, current trends and issues.
- Assesses potential organizational impact of 340B changes and ensures 340B program is continuously compliant with federal regulations.
- Develops and/or updates 340B policies and procedures whenever there is clarification to interpretation, or change in the rules, regulations, or guidelines to 340B requirements.
- Reviews 340B policies and procedures annually.
- Shares expertise and provides training, education, and communication to staff and Program participants regarding 340B Program compliance.
