How you’ll make an impact in this role
Ascension Saint Thomas Heart is seeking to add a new Full Time General Cardiologist to our team at our clinic at Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital.
Responsibilities
- Working in a excellent team atmosphere with other general physicians and APPs
- Practice setting: inpatient/outpatient
- Fellowship trained in General Cardiology
- Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation preferred
- Endovascular medicine certification preferred
- Employed position within a nonprofit health system
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
- Work alongside an exceptional, tight-knit team of fellow Interventional Cardiologists and highly skilled Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) who manage top-of-license duties to streamline your day.
- Expand your footprint and build strong regional ties by providing dedicated outreach care to our partner locations just one day per week.

What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
