What You Will Do:
- Act as liaison between Enerpac production facilities and suppliers.
- Coordinate with buyers at global production facilities, share updated information and exceptions
- Prepare production and/or delivery schedule to meet customer demand and verify inventory levels, working closely with the plant operations teams.
- Places necessary Purchase Orders to suppliers using the appropriate ERP system - ensuring accuracy of data, required approvals are obtained and adherence to Global Category strategy.
- Maintain and update demand forecasts from operations
Work with supplier base to keep them informed of near and future requirements, advise supplier of irregularities or unusual demand.
- Actively drive suppliers to ensure on-time & on-quantity adherence to Purchase Orders requirements
Expedite orders as required to meet production & business requirements.
- Track delivery & quality performance of the suppliers using supplier score cards
Provide regular report out to suppliers and internal stakeholders
Drive improvements at supplier to meet KPI targets.
- Coordinate with suppliers and quality teams for non-conformances and drive RCA to CAPA
Communicate & coordinate for ECNs as required.
- Be the first point of escalation of all techno - commercial issues with suppliers.
- For matters beyond control, perform necessary on time escalations and co-ordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure issues are resolved.
- Execute procurement processes according to the set procedures and standard workflow.
- Makes recommendations for Supply Chain improvements and assists with Category strategies
What Makes You an Ideal Candidate
- Diploma / Graduate and having experience in Logistics/Supply Chain/ Manufacturing with 4-6 years of purchasing admin experience preferably with manufacturing related companies.
- Experience and working knowledge of processes involved in planning, purchasing and inventory management systems like lean management, VMI, Min-Max, Kanban, Pull systems.
- Experience using Oracle or other ERP system on a daily basis
- Proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Multi-lingual skills preferred.
- Experience in working in a global organization with regular interaction across multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural work environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact in a cross functional environment with various departments, employee levels in the organization & suppliers.
- Resilient, determined, and able to work under pressure
Able to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- High degree of ethics and personal conduct.
- Ability to work in shifts, if required, would be preferred
