Job Description
Summary
Delta Star Inc. is seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance III to perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair across electrical, mechanical, and facility systems. This role is essential in maintaining equipment reliability and supporting safe, efficient plant operations.
What You’ll Do
As a Maintenance III, you’ll perform both preventative and corrective maintenance activities to ensure the reliability of facility systems and production equipment. You’ll diagnose complex issues, repair systems, and use testing tools to validate performance while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
A Day in the Life
Your day may include troubleshooting electrical systems, repairing mechanical components, inspecting machinery, and performing preventative maintenance tasks. You’ll work with motors, controls, and distribution systems, interpret schematics, and ensure all repairs meet safety and code requirements. You’ll also communicate equipment status and support continuous operations across the plant.
Specific Duties
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues
Maintain electrical and electronic systems supporting plant operations
Use testing equipment to verify circuit and system performance
Work with motors, controls, and electrical distribution systems
Safely recognize and work with primary and secondary voltages
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
Perform work in compliance with NEC and safety standards
Maintain clean and organized workspaces
Communicate maintenance issues and status updates
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks
Perform other duties as assigned

Position Requirements
High school diploma, GED, or trade school certification
Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience
Ability to pass background check, drug test, and physical
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
Ability to use diagnostic tools and test equipment effectively
Understanding of electrical codes and industrial safety standards
Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Response time to maintenance issues
Effectiveness of preventative maintenance programs
