Job Description:
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assist service team with beverage and food service
- Communicate effectively with co-workers.
- Complete side work when and as assigned.
- Perform more than one task at a time.
- Perform calmly and effectively under pressure.
- Communicate with guest clearly, patiently, and courteously.
- Transport beverages to service a party of 4 in a single trip.
- Transport beverage and food items from source to any guest table continually throughout a shift.
- Safely move about in all areas of the location.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum of 6 months - 1 year of food & beverage experience.
- Meet personal schedule requirements punctually.
- Be courteous, pleasant and good-natured.
- Respond to the needs of difficult guests with patience and courtesy.
- Accept constructive criticism.
- Get along with co-workers.
- Provide a clean, well-manicured persona, which reflects the established image of the location.
- Work nights, weekends and holidays.
Work Environment:
- Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in a professional office setting, but there may be times where you will need to be in operating areas. In these areas, you may be exposed to environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
