Job Description
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Ø Leader of regional Trade Marketing team . Develop marketing strategies and support programs in China to drive sales and promote Kohler brand leadership in the following areas: Ø at retail channels, focus on showrooms. Ø trade customers and influencers including distributors, developer and hotel chains. Ø assist regional sales team to drive sales and promote Kohler brand leadership at the regional and city level. Ø Collaborating with regional sales manager and their teams, manage the city budget for efficient and effective use to achieve local market and sales development objectives. Ø Coordinate with product team and/or regional sales offices for consumer and trade promotions at city, regional or national level. Ø Manage, implement and co-ordinate communication programs and merchandising support including seminars, trade shows, road shows, events, advertising and marketing materials (eg. newsletters, local advertising, PR, marketing activities, POP materials, collaterals, literature, audio/visual presentations) as needed for communication at all channels mentioned above, and ensure that they comply with Kohler standards and requirements. Ø Coordinate with A P team of Marketing Communications to develop advertising and marketing materials necessary to support communication at all channels. Ø Monitor and feedback to Marketing and Management competitive sales and marketing initiatives and activities at the channel level. Ø Identify new opportunities and develop support programs to promote sales or Kohler brand leadership through joint-promotion, partnerships and alliances with other brands and trade associations. Ø Provide product team and management valuable consumer feedback and competitive intelligence for product and business opportunities. Ø Assist Market Research team in carrying out research and survey at channel level. Ø Assist in carrying out ad hoc promotions and marketing programs as assigned by the Marketing Director to support the company’s marketing strategies and achieve set business objectives within a specific time frame. Ø Assist in planning and leading promotional activities of other new businesses or categories through the various channels as assigned by the Marketing Director. Ø Travel to other cities in the Regions will be required. RELATIONSHIPS AND CONTACTS · Frequently contacts with the Regional Sales Manager, Product Marketing Managers, Project Sales Manager, Retail Sales Manager, A P Manager, Showroom Manager of Kohler China. · Contact with Market Research and other functional managers as needed. · External contacts: distributors, agencies, vendors
