is looking for a

Plant Health & Safety Engineer

to join the team in Nikolic

As the Health & Safety Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with H&S policy and procedures, while actively promoting the site’s H&S culture, reporting directly to Plant Health, Safety & Environment Manager.

What you will need to do:

• Control and maintain a safe and clean working environment by securing those procedures, rules and regulations are followed
• Promete and enhance health & safety culture across the site
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and standards through audits, inspection, analysis of findings and implementation of corrective actions
• Support the development and implementation of Health & Safety initiatives in line with legislation and company standards
• Assist in the maintenance of the Health & Safety Management System (ISO 45001)

Conduct accident and incident investigation & ensures the implementation of an effective event management

• Support Plant H&S Manager on developing and delivering Health & Safety training programs

What you need to possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mining, Chemical Engineering or relevant field
• Up to 2 years’ experience in similar positions
• Familiarity with Bulgarian legislation and safety management system ISO 45001 will be considered an asset
• Excellent command of English language
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to work in a challenging industrial environment
• Ability to creatively solve complex problems with continuous improvement
