Job Description
Hellenic Cables S.A. is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Quality Assurance department in Eleonas Plant.
Role Description
- Investigate product quality issues, establishing problem-solving tools (8D report, 5Whys, Fishbone) in order to make improvements and achieve better customer satisfaction
- Coordinate of corrective and preventing actions derived from quality issues
- Identify and implement, manufacturing process improvements which will improve capability and performance, collaborating with Production and Technical team
- Implement of a suitable process to identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to minimize or eliminate those risks.
- Collect quality data and analyze (statistically based) in order to identify possible areas for improvements
- Prepare and present Quality Assurance reports with KIPs and metrics
- Prepare and Support for Client's and 3rd Party Quality Audits
Qualifications
- Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering
- 3 years of industrial experience
- Experience in Quality Assurance principles, Quality management systems and Business Improvement tools are highly desirable, e.g. Lean, and Six Sigma.
- Critical thinking and in depth problem-solving skills
- Strong ability in data analysis, and being able to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Flexible and well-organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
- English language in professional level
