Overview About the role We are looking for a Creative Director to lead a team and produce award-winning creative advertising at Publicis Japan. This individual will be responsible for overseeing others, and leading large/complex projects and productions across all touchpoints in Japan. Responsibilities What you will do with us: Lead Creative Excellence: Using your exceptional skills in both Art and Copy to ideate, create and elevate the quality of the work. Produce award-winning, product-selling, jealousy-inducing advertising for each client. Lead from the Frontlines: Make timely and decisive decisions, balance the needs of the team, and communicate them effectively to stakeholders. Provide clear direction and select/deliver compelling ideas. Delegate and clearly explain expected outcomes. See the bigger picture and lead us to success. Guidance and Support: Lead & develop teams (across departments). Transfer knowledge. Not a solitary star, but a mentor, guide and coach to others. Empowering the team, not micromanaging. Collaborate with Others: Fosters collaboration and communication between departments, breaking down silos and promoting a sense of shared responsibility for the agency's success. Build and Foster Relations: Lead proposals and work with others to maintain and expand business with brand-aligned plans. Be a trusted partner and ally with clients and agency-folk alike. Propel Agency Growth: Lead proposals and work with leadership to maintain and expand business with brand-aligned plans. Qualifications What you will bring: Experience in creative leadership (as a CD or ACD prior, in total 15 years experience in the industry) A portfolio of incredible and smart advertising, across all touchpoints (Film, TV, Print, OOH, Social, etc.) Being able to analyze marketing strategies, interpret data, and generate creative concepts (BIG IDEA). Being able to write solid proposals and rationales, present them to clients, and close the deal. Approaching client challenges with an open mind, considering all media and tactics, and develop 360-degree activation campaigns.
