Job Description

The Claims Analyst will be responsible for meticulously reviewing, analyzing, and processing insurance claims to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution. This role requires a keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills.

Your Impact:

  • Receive, review, and analyze incoming insurance claims, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.

  • Investigate claim details, including policy coverage, liability, and damage assessment, to determine appropriate resolution.

  • Communicate effectively with policyholders, agents, adjusters, and other relevant parties to gather information and provide claim status updates.

  • Negotiate and settle claims within established authority limits, adhering to company guidelines and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain accurate and thorough claim records, documenting all communications, decisions, and financial transactions.

  • Identify and report potential fraudulent claims, escalating as necessary.

  • Collaborate with underwriting and legal departments on complex or disputed claims.

  • Stay informed of industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to claims management.

  • Prepare and present claim reports and analyses to management as required.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of claims processing improvements.


Successful Candidates Will Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.

  • 1-3 years of experience in claims analysis or a related insurance role.

  • Knowledge of insurance principles, practices, and regulations is highly desirable.

  • Experience with Property, MTC (Motor Truck Cargo), Builder's Risk, Yacht, Rec Marine, Auto PD and Liability, and Casualty experience is preferred.
